Application Process
In order for an application to be processed, all of the following information needs to be completed and submitted. Please note that there is a separate application form for our Taste of Torah beginners program.
1. Application Form
Complete the application form below, and submit it to She'arim via the web site.
2. Passport Pictures
A passport picture must be submitted to She'arim
3. Letters of Recommendation
2 letters of recommendations in writing from your Rabbi, Rebbetzin or mentor sent directly to hello@shearim.com
The letters should include:
- The name, address, and phone number of the organization they represent, and a phone number for follow up questions
- The person's relationship with you- how long they have known you and in what capacity
- A thorough description of your level of observance and your academic and social skills
- It is important for your reference to include any pertinent medical, psychological or psychiatric information with as much details as possible

Acceptance Process
She'arim typically takes 2-3 weeks to process an application, however if you do not hear back from us within that time, please double check your spam folder and reach out to
Mrs. Freishtat through hello@shearim.com.
Upon acceptance, please ensure the following:
Flight Details
Please send in your flight details including: airline, flight number, date and time of arrival in order for She’arim to complete arrangements for your arrival.
It is imperative for this information to reach our office before you embark on your flight so someone can meet you at your dorm upon your arrival.
Dorm Deposit
If you plan on staying in our dorms, you will need to pay a $150 non refundable dorm registration fee. This fee will be credited to the cost of staying in the dorm.
