Masa is the global leader in immersive international career development and leadership experiences in Israel for young Jewish adults from around the world.
With a variety of long-term programs in Israel, Masa is able to provide meaningful, enriching experiences to young Jews from many different countries, backgrounds, levels of education, and fields.
Since its founding in 2004, Masa has helped over 150,000 young adults from 60+ countries to strengthen their connection with Israel, empowering a new generation of connected, committed, and inspired young Jewish adults. These young adults are changing the face ofm the Jewish world and Israel, as professionals, community leaders, and advocates.
Masa’s Product Development Department manages all existing programs and develops new programs to meet the constantly changing needs and interests of young Jewish communities around the world.
Masa Jewish Studies: Masa’s Jewish Studies programs range from interdisciplinary studies in Israel’s top universities to Torah and Talmudic instruction in Israel’s leading yeshivas and seminaries. Participants delve into the history and customs of the Jewish people, explore their own Jewish identity, become familiarized with a wide variety of Jewish texts, and immerse
themselves in Jewish traditions and culture.
She’arim has been approved as a Masa program, and as such students that study at She’arim are entitled to grants and scholarships.
Basic eligibility to receive a Masa Grant and/or Scholarship
1. Must be between the ages of 18-30
2. Cannot be an Israeli citizen, or if an Israeli citizen has not lived in Israel after the age of 14
3. Has not received a Masa scholarship program in the past
4. Has not participated in a Masa program since 2004
5. Has not spent 4 consecutive months in Israel during the last 24 months
6. Will be studying at She’arim for at least five months
7. Application must be sent in 60 days prior to starting the program
Grants are based on age and country of residence,
Masa Needs Based Scholarships
In order to receive a needs based scholarship, you will be required to give your parents' proof of income. If you are financially independent, you are required to give your proof of income for 6 months, an apartment rental contract for 6 months and a notarized letter by your parents stating that they do not support you financially.

Masas cholarship recipients are required by the Masa program to have Israeli medical insurance. Failure to acquire it will result in losing your scholarship.
