Trips: Come to Israel and Tour the Land PDF Print E-mail

Learning in Israel is a gift.  Add to the learning, tiyulim across the width and breadth of the land, and students at She'arim become even more connected to the land, the people and the Torah.

She'arim students tour the south of the county, climbing Masada, hiking in the desert to find water and go swimming in the Dead Sea. In the spring, our students go north - enjoying the lush countryside of the Golan, kayaking in the Jordan, hiking to waterfalls and visiting holy places. They travel to Carmel region, seeing some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country.

Half day trips in Jerusalem explore the archeological excavations of the Southern Walls of the Temple Mount and the battlefields of the modern Israeli army. Students walk in the footsteps of King David in the City of David and imbibe of the holiness of the tunnels next to the Kotel.  Fascinating neighborhoods that were built in the 19th century are visited, as they get to know who the pioneers of this ancient/modern country were.

Full day trips are bi-monthly. Half day trips are bi-weekly.
