She’arim College of Jewish Studies for Women in Israel is committed to educating Jewish women to deepen their knowledge and commitment to their heritage. We teach classes in Jewish text,  history, ethics, thought and tradition.  Each student learns at her own pace, integrating her studies and experiencing her growth on an individual level. Most importantly, we assist each student in developing her relationship with G-d.

Ours approach to education is holistic, integrating intellectual study and spiritual growth with practical everyday skills. This approach recognizes that textual, philosophical and ethical studies cannot be separated from daily activities and responsibilities. All are tools designed for personal growth. Our goal is to  empower women to meet contemporary challenges, opportunities and responsibilities -  to family, community and and to the greater Jewish world. 

We believe that education and growth are a continuing life long process.  We encourage  women to develop, maintain, and utilize a close student teacher relationship in this process.
